A British retired hunger reportedly dead in her house in South Spain after her son, who took care of her, died of natural causes on the building.
The police found the 90-year-old lifeless in her house in Alhaurin El Grande together with her 63-year-old son during a welfare check.
They had to make their way to the building, half an hour's drive in the interior of the Fuengirola Costa del Sol resort, after they knocked on the door several times.
Officers of the civilian protector who are in charge of investigating what happened have concluded that both have died of natural causes.
They say there is no suggestion for cheating.
The British were known at local social services and employees of the town hall stopped the alarm days after an ambulance had been called to their house to help the woman.
Paramedics found her in a 'terminal phase' and it was unclear which of the two died first, reports the local outlet Diario Sur.
