The BBC was confronted last night with questions after it was accused of the 'blind spraying' of Hamas -propaganda in a documentary.
Gaza: How to survive a war zone was broadcast on BBC Two on Monday with the aim of showing a 'lively and unwavering image of life' in the comic.
It was made by two producers located in London who remotely directed two cameramen remotely in nine months.
Last night, independent investigative journalist David Collier claimed that one of the children's digestists, Abdullah, the son is of a Minister of Hamas and grandson of one of the founders of Hamas.
With the help of Facebook and publicly available data online, Mr. Collier claimed that the young star of the show is the son of the vice-minister of agriculture of Gaza, Dr. ir. Ayman al-Yazouri.
This would mean that his grandfather would be the Hamas founder Ibrahim al-Yazouri, who was previously imprisoned by Egypt and Israel for involvement in forbidden groups.
The Daily Mail was unable to independently verify the claims of Mr Collier. He also says that one of the cameramen of the documentary, Amjad Al Fayoumi, posted the expression 'The Flood' with a greeting emoji on Facebook on October 7, 2023, who apparently endorses the attack.
In writing on his blog, Mr. Collier said: 'The naivety, stupidity and arrogance of our media has long been clear. It has enabled Palestinian propagandists to change silly points of sale of our old channels that blindly spray Hamas 24/7. '

Last night the former director of BBC Television Danny Cohen said: 'The BBC seems to have given the son of a senior member of the Hamas Terrorist Group for an hour of prime-time reporting.
“Or they were not aware of the terrorist ties because they did not perform the most basic journalistic checks whether the BBC knew and misled the public about the deep involvement of the family in terrorism.”
A spokesperson for the campaign against anti-Semitism added: “If these allegations are true, the BBC has essentially published long form propaganda for an anti-Semitic genocidal terror organization with license-fee funds.”
A BBC spokesperson replied: 'As the BBC explained earlier, the film was edited and directed from London, because independent international journalists are not allowed in Gaza.
The film gives the audience a rare glimpse of Gaza during the war, as well as an insight into the lives of the children, it hears the voices of other Gazan citizens, of whom some people express anti-Hamas feelings. '
In response to the claim that a cameraman supported the massacre on October 7, they said: “The documentary was produced in accordance with BBC editorial guidelines and under the full editorial control of the BBC team in London.”
