Denise Richards is 'grateful' that she was there in a difficult time for her ex Charlie Sheen's Twin Sons with Brooke Mueller.
In 2013, Richards became the legal guardian of their sons Bob and Max, now 15, after they were removed from Mueller's house when she reportedly created an 'unsafe' environment for them.
Richards, who plays the lead role in her upcoming reality show Denise Richards and her wild things, said people of that time: “I am grateful that we could help them at the time.”
Richards' relationship with Sheen and Mueller has improved since then and she is friendly to them and their twins.
Now her door is always 'open' for Sheen, Mueller and their sons.
“Charlie is always invited to holiday miners,” she explains. 'There is always an open door and that also applies to Brooke and the boys. I am always, the more, the better. I want everyone to get along with each other and everyone is peaceful. '

In 2019, Mueller again checked himself in a rehabilitation facility and Sheen started to manage the twins with the parents of him and the actress.
Charlie commented on the explosion about Mueller who was in rehabilitation and said that their twin sons were well cared for between him and their grandparents.
“Brooke is currently tucked away, (again!) For the lush billionth time, looking for the help she needs,” Sheen told the outlet.
“Between myself, and the two great sets of the boys' grandparents, we will seamlessly keep shelter and protect Bob and Max, against the random choices and ugly behavior that their mother refuses to put out once and for all.”
Sheen said that “these great boys need their mother … and hopefully they will finally have one one day … Until then, we have this on every front.”
Last year Sheen and Mueller resolved their many years of child benefit after Charlie had submitted a request in 2018 to pay less to his children.
“I have not been able to find steadily work and I was blacklisted from many aspects of the entertainment industry,” said Sheen at the time, who estimated that he both mueller and Richards about 9.5 percent of his annual gross income paid.
