Whoopi Goldberg sparkled with her the view co-gastheer Alyssa Farah Griffin, beaming about the idea that she should learn how to talk more effectively with Trump voters.
The heated exchange arose when Griffin, the Witte Huis communication director under Donald Trump in 2020, said that Democrats should be willing to talk to Trump supporters to 'find agreement'.
Griffin resigned from her position about a month before the rebellion of January 6 in 2021 and later supported Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 elections.
Despite the fact that they drift away from Trump, she claimed that she agrees with parts of Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation policy framework that has formed a large part of the objectives of the second Trump administration.
“If you hate project 2025, it worked for you,” Griffin said about common democratic talk points on the campaign track.
She added that for people who liked 'some parts of' project 2025, Democrats 'must be willing to go to uncomfortable spaces' to reach those voters.
“You have to have conversations with people who don't agree if you want to build coalitions to press back,” said Griffin. 'You are going to find, there are many things that Donald Trump does what I agree with. But then there are things that I think are dangerous, reckless and want to call. '
Goldberg responded by saying that it is difficult to talk to people who voted for Trump because they said they support people who think you don't matter in the country. '

Griffin said Democrats should be able to be able to talk to people who voted for Donald Trump to find a common basis and to make sense of actions he takes as president with whom they disagree with

Whoopi Goldberg initially shot that sentiment, but was warmed up later after he was pushed by Alyssa Farah Griffin
“But it doesn't support that person,” Griffin told her back.
'No, no! No no! But if you support that person, it brings – “Goldberg said before you were cut off by Griffin.
“But I don't support that person, my point is, I don't disagree with everything that Trump does, so we have to be able to have conversations,” Griffin added.
At the moment Goldberg seemed to warm up to this point of view and said, “Well, if we find the things we agree on, that's what we do.”
She said that finding common land with Trump voters should end when the president's movements are “unpleasant for the majority.”
“Now I found nothing interesting for me in Project 2025, I did not feel that this was aimed at us as a nation,” Goldberg added.
'I felt that it was aimed at very specific people and that the shit was bothering me. But I understand what you say. And yes, we have to talk to each other. That is the beauty. '
The Anti-Trump-Gastheren on 'The View' had had to weaken their political rhetoric since Trump won the elections.

The ladies on 'The View' must be more careful since ABC, their home network, has been established with Trump about comments made in March by George Stephanopoulos about the E. Jean Carroll shop
Sunny Hostin and Joy Bear had to read legal notes at the end of November after discussing explosive accusations against two from Trump's cabinet choices, Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseeth.
The reason for caution is because 'The View' is on ABC, the network that Trump has sued for defamation about comments from ABC News -anchor George Stephanopoulos.
In an interview of 10 March with Congressman Nancy Mace, Stephanopoulos claimed that Trump was found politely for raping author E. Jean Carroll, when he was actually held liable for 'sexual abuse'.
In December ABC settled with Trump and agreed to donate $ 15 million to his future presidential library, plus an extra $ 1 million to cover its legal costs.
Stephanopoulos was also forced to give a public apology that regrets the comments.
