Former NFL -star -Punter Chris Kluwwe was dragged by the police from the Californian council meeting after he had compared Donald Trump's Maga supporters with Nazis.
Kluwwe, 43, played for different teams until they retired in 2013, a name for themselves for defending the marriage of the same sex and being pronounced against religion.
The Punter and Video Game lover – who describes herself as a 'troublemaker extraordinaire' on Bluesky – spoke during the Huntington Beach Council meeting against a plaque for the city library.
The plaque commemorates the 50 -year anniversary of the library and describes itself as' magical ',' seductive ',' 'galvanizing' and 'adventurous', who spell alongside each other.
The plaquette also uses slogans made famous by Barack Obama: “By Hope and Change our nation has better built back to the golden age of making America great!”
Kluwwe was not in the mood for uniting sentiment with regard to the plaque, which was unanimously approved by the council, as he appealed to them.
Although he had no problem with the plaque, he simply couldn't stand to use Trump's slogan on it.
He said that Maga stands for everything, from 'trying to delete transmeners from existence,' re-segregation and racism ',' 'censorship and book ban' to 'firing air traffic controllers while aircraft crash'.

The former Punter also said that they were for firing nuclear arsenal viewers and the dismissing of military veterans and cutbacks on education.
Kluwwe added that the movement was “corrupt, unmistakably anti -democracy and, especially, Maga is explicitly a Nazi movement.”
He said, “You may have replaced a swastika with a red hat, but that's what it is.”
The ex-Minnnesota Viking then claimed that he “participated in the ancient American tradition of peaceful civil disobedience” and went a few foot ahead to the council.
He was then quickly arrested and towed away by several police officers, according to the OC register.
Kluwwe brought about four hours to the police for about four hours and spoke favorably about the officers in an interview in which he explained his actions the next day.
“This was not done with the intention of changing the thoughts of the council because I don't think those spirits can be changed,” Kluwwe said.
'It was done so that people who look and people who will watch understand that this is important enough to be arrested for. That it is important to get up and speak truth to power and to do this in a way that other people can emulate. '

He added that the plaque was only 'propaganda' that would make people feel unwanted in the library.
“A public library is supposed to welcome for everyone who wants to come in and watch and learn a book,” said Kluwwe.
'And so it shows this attempt to politicize it with an explicit Maga reference on the plaque that they do not care about the public library. They give it a propaganda statement. '
In the 2024 elections, Kamala Harris defeated Trump in the city of Orange County with about two points, although the victory Senator Adam Schiff lost the city to the former baseball player Steve Garvey.
During his NFL days more than ten years ago, Kluwwe already made the headlines for his political views.
Kluwwe has said that he is 'free trust' that he was cut out of the team last May because he was in favor of same -sex marriage.
Kluwwe has also accused Vikings coach Mike Priefer – is currently a competition to become the next head coach of the team – of a Bigot who repeatedly used homophobic language for him and told him he would burn in hell with the gays. '
The player, whose play statistics were above average, believes that his problems started in the fall of 2012 when he started to speak out against the Minnesota Gay marriage change that tried to have defined a marriage as' only a union of one man and one woman . '

Together with a group called Minnesotans for equality of the marriage, Klinkk helped to let the amendment vote. The marriage of the same sex is now legal in Minnesota, but Kluwe says he has lost his career because of his beliefs.
He has written a destructive report of his last months in the Vikings in an article placed on Deadspin, entitled I was an NFL player until I was fired by two cowards and a Bigot.
The Vikings have previously refused the cutting of Kluwwe for reasons outside the field. Last June, Priever refused to go into details about the release of Kluwwe, but said that he felt 'very strong' that the Vikings should be apart from the punt.
“It was more consistency and productivity,” said Priever in a response to a question about which factors, statistically or otherwise, contributed to the decision.
Asked if Kluwe could have improved his production, Priever said simply: “I just felt that we had to make a change there.”
Kluwwe has appointed that team owner Zygi Wilf had expressed his support for the public position of Kluwwe.
