A high school is locked up after three students, including a 13-year-old girl, and a teacher were injured during a violent fight.
Students at the Emerald State High School in Queensland were barricaded for two hours in their classrooms after the struggle broke out just before 11 am on Wednesday.
Allegedly, a student took out a knife during the fight, in which three students and a female teacher were injured in the age of thirty.
A 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital in a stable state with face injury.
The other two students and the teacher were treated by paramedics at the school.
The school remained in Lockdown from 10.50 am to 12.30 pm.
“Paramedics brought a stable teenager to the Emerald Hospital with face injury after a reported attack,” said a spokesperson for the Ambulance of Queensland.
“Three other patients were assessed, but refused transport by ambulance, including two teenage patients with small face injuries and a woman of in thirty with a small head injury.”

A spokeswoman for the Queensland Department of Education said that emergency services were called to the school to 'help staff to safely manage the situation'.
She assured the public that the classes have returned as normal as soon as the lockdown ended.
“The department deals with the safety and well -being of students and staff as the highest priority,” she said.
'Families of students who were directly involved were immediately contacted and offered support.
“Current counseling and support services are available for those who need it.”
It comes only six months after students at the state school were locked up in their classrooms after a student had produced a knife while he was on campus.
In May 2018, the police went to the state school after a student waved a hammer during a massive fight.
Four years earlier in 2014, 22 students were suspended within a few days about a wave of incidents, including a student who brought a knife to the school.
