Supporters of accused murderer Luigi Mangione packed a courthouse in New York on Friday for a glimpse of the man accused of shooting CEO of Healthcare Brian Thompson.
The support was enormous while fans were waiting in the corridors of the Constes Court in Manhattan and a truck circled the building with a large image of the alleged murderer dressed as a holy, complete with Halo.
At one point, a group of supporters who are standing in line seemed to do the word 'Luigi' with their arms and posed in front of a photo – even a former American army soldier and whistleblower Chelsea Manning was spotted in the crowd of people.
“I am a member of the public exercise of my sixth amendment to view the procedure,” Manning, who spent seven years in prison prison, told DailyMail.com.
Another woman who stood outside said, “We are here to support the message that Luigi spreads.”
The sick show of support came when Mangione, 26, appeared for a routine hearing about discovery in connection with the case against him.
He is accused of the December 4 -murder on Thompson, CEO of the United Healthcare, outside a hotel in Manhattan Hilton, where he would attend an investor meeting.

Since his arrest, details from the prison of Mangione's response to his polarizing fame had been leaked, but the accused murderer had not made any public statements until last week, apart from his non -culpy plea.
His lawyers then set up a website that documents his case, including a message from the alleged murderer who thanked his fans.
“I am overwhelmed by – and grateful for – everyone who wrote me to share their stories and express their support,” said Mangione, the son of a rich nursing home of Maryland.

“Due to the extraordinary research volume and outpouring support, this site has been established and is maintained by the legal defense team of Luigi Mangione to provide answers to frequently asked questions, accurate information about his affairs and to dispel the wrong information,” read it.

Mangione has divided public opinion since his identity and the horrifying details of the murder of Brian Thompson of UnitedHealthcare CEO were unveiled after his arrest on December 9.
