A three-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle after a crash with a Manchester tram.
The police are currently present at Mosley Street after a collision with a Metrolink tram and a white Mercedes-Benz van earlier today.
It is clear that the girl, 3, was a pedestrian in Mosley Street at the time of the crash, when she was hit by the van when it recovered from the collision.
A higher spokesperson for the Manchester police said: 'Emergency services respond to reports of a collision with a tram and a van in the center of Manchester.
'A three -year -old girl was taken to the hospital and unfortunately died of her injuries.
“No arrests have been made and questions are going on.”
