Local residents say they are losing the struggle to keep their streets clean because flying tips dump hills for an abandoned snooker hall.
A group of wanderer extractors regularly search the adjacent streets of Blackburn, Lancashire, to clean up waste.
But they say that fly-tippers illegally dump mountains at the front of the former John's Snooker and Poolbar in Clayton Street, Blackburn, their street a 'thorn in the eye'.
Daine Chadwick, 33, who organizes the local population team to pick nest, said: 'It is a real thorn in the eye.
“It seems to have gotten worse in recent weeks. This is the worst that it has been a long time.
'More waste is dumped every week and the more that is thrown over the fence, the more tilt it attracts.
'Mattresses, beds, banks have all recently been dumped.
“Every week we go out as a group and we take litter to encourage people to do the same, but seeing the waste here has a negative influence on people who live here.”

Local resident Dane Taylor, 34, said the council said that “they can't do anything because it is private property.”
However, he stated that they could check the CCTV cameras opposite the old Snooker Hall and find out who Fly-Tipping is. '
Mr. Taylor added: 'It has long been a mess.
'People just appear in vans and throw their waste over the fence.
“The wind then blows up some waste and on the street.”
Daine Chadwick, who works for Charity Roots Community, said: 'We would like to go inside and clean it up because it would make a huge difference for the area.
'But it is private ownership and we do not know who the building owns.
'We do our best, but it is a wrinkle effect; The more waste is dumped, the more it attracts. '

In March 2020, a fire tore through the building, causing the roof to collapse.
Local resident Geoffrey Pickin, 67, described the site as 'a real mess'.
He added: 'We do our best to keep the street as litter -free as possible, but with the amount of waste that is being dumped, it is difficult.
“I think they come at night and dump their waste.
'The place has been empty for years and has always put on waste, but it has never been so bad.
“I wish something would be done.”
Martin Eden, strategic director of Environment and Communities in Blackburn with Darwen Council said: 'We are well aware of the flight shipping site in Clayton Street and have worked to resolve it as quickly as possible, despite the fact that the private country is not coming under the jurisdiction of the council.
'We have collaborated with the landowner to make site visits to enable us to examine the waste to try to identify the perpetrators. This has led to both a local company and the landlord being carefully interviewed. We have also found evidence from some locals who dump waste.
'We have issued a warning letter from the community protection to the landowner and asked them to remove the waste within a set of time scale. Failure to act within this timetable will lead to further enforcement measures against the landowner.
“Fly Tipping is a criminal offense and those who found guilty can get an unlimited fine or six months in prison or both.”
