A house search order was performed on Friday before a 16-year-old boy was arrested, interviewed by investigators and then released as the questions were continued.
It came after the detective sergeant Simon Garner encouraged that at least two years 11 students from the school were suspended to bring themselves to the police.
“I find it quite disturbing and quite despicable,” he told a press conference on Friday.
'The images are pretty vulgar.
“People sometimes think that they can be a joke and are not aware of the consequences they have for the affected people who can be long -term.”
The school gave the names of the people they believed they were involved in the Victoria police on Thursday afternoon, before they informed parents in an e -mail about the incident.

A student of Gladstone Park Secondary College in Melbourne was arrested after photos of female students were formally changed in a 'sexually explicit' way and were shared online.
Between 10 and 60 students can be hit anywhere.
“We urge members of the public, when they see these images online, they can let us know,” said Det Sgt Garner.
'The girls and students involved are cared for and if there is no emergence, they can come to us and we can get the full story of how they were struck.
“It is very painful and pretty disturbing to the young girls and the things that have happened to them.”
Det Sgt Garner said that the case might not be as easy as it seemed.
“We understand that there is another side to the story in relation to the people who did this and we encourage them to come forward,” he said.
“This is a very serious violation. We are talking about images of production, possession and distribution of children's exploration material.
“We have to discover what their motivations are.”
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Education said that 'disrespectful behavior' in every Victorian school was unacceptable '.
