Feeding homeowners claim that they are unable to sit in their gardens for fear of splashing with bird droppings and can no longer stay off to dry because of the seagulls circling above.
And one company has lost thousands of kilos after Bird Poo has left some stock unsaleable.
The landfill – run by Suez Recycling and Recovery UK – in Altham, Lancashire, is used by countless city councils to deposit waste from households.
Gary Hough, who launched campaign group, said in the edge, said in the summer that about 5,000 seagulls are flying over your head.
The 62-year-old said: 'It just gets worse.
'I have lived here for nine years and it has never been so bad.
'We can't sit outside, our cars and outdoor furniture are constantly covered with seagull waste and I have noticed that lamb member and chicken bones have landed on my car and in my garden.

The manager of Greengate Builders Merchants said that thousands of pounds have been ruined because of the bird droppings. Rob Ross (photo), 40, said: 'The seagull waste is harmful stock. It is also a health risk and very unhygienic for staff who handle the stock
He added: 'Seagulls are a protected species and we clearly do not want them to be agreed because they only feed waste.
“What we want is dumping household waste that has been suspended until it is transferred to Farington Waste Tip (Leyland), which is much better equipped to handle the amount of household waste.”
Julie Birtwell, 63, said: 'I can't sit in my garden or have a BBQ because of the seagulls flying over you.
'My wash is also constantly covered with mud.
'Last week my Cocker spaniel was sick and I think he had eaten something that a seagull had fallen into the garden.

'There are more seagulls since Covid, because as soon as they find a food source, they will stay.

Brian Atkinson, 73, who has lived on the estate for 30 years, said: 'There are now more seagulls, but that is because the tip has spread and got closer to us.
'The seagull poop is a problem and I always have to wash it off my car because it can be quite corrosive and damage the paintwork.
“But you just have to continue with it. There is also an argument that if you buy a house near a landfill, you should expect it. '

Mr Hough added: 'We must constantly clean our cars and house because of the droppings and other mess they make'
'Our gardens, driveways and cars are covered with bird droppings. It smells like a large rotten garbage can and people can't even sit outside when it's hot.
'People have complained, but nothing is done.
'We are a small town that is bombed everywhere with waste, seagulls, flying and rats.
“The tip is owned by Suez, but the council can certainly do something.”

“It's a constant problem. We do our best to remove it, but this is not always possible and it looks a mess.
'We sell a lot of decorative stock and customers want it to look brand new, not covered with waste content of waste.
“Some shares that we have not been able to sell and it has cost the company a lot of money.”
