The Trump government is planning a daring new border performance that allows civil servants to expel migrants immediately because of the fear that they can spread dangerous diseases such as tuberculosis.
Internal documents obtained by CBS News reveal plans to revive the controversial title 42 policy -the same measure Trump used in 2020 to close the border during the Covid Pandemie.
The bomb movement comes when Trump doubles over his strong immigration position.
According to the proposed policy, immigration officials would have radical new powers to avert migrants on the border without the usual asylum research process.
The Biden administration had held Trump's original Title 42 policy in the midst of rising illegal border crossings until it expired in 2023.
But now Trump reaches for an even more ambitious version of those necessities.
