President Donald Trump's top adviser is working on phase two of cease -the fires between Israel and this week.
Steve Witkoff, an old friend of Trump and now his special envoy in the middle, goes to Qatar, Egypt, Israel, United Arab Emirates and Saudi -Aarabia for cessation -the -fires and hostage negotiations.
He said that a large part of the second phase is to ensure that Hamas leaves Gaza 'physically' – the Palestinian territory where the terrorist group served as the actual government.
Another priority Witkoff is detailed on Sunday morning to take care of the release of Edan Alexander, an American citizen that is still in Hamas Captivity.
Asked where Hamas would go if they were driven out of Gaza, Witkoff told CBS -Gastheer Margaret Brennan: “I think the devil is in the details and we have had discussions about it.”
“I am not free to have that specific discussion today, but we have some ideas, and that will be part of the negotiation,” he added in an interview about Brennan's show opposite the nation.
Trump has spoken of the US who redeveloped Gaza by war and changes a desirable destination – but he has done doubts whether Palestinians would be welcomed in their house after they have fallen to the surrounding countries in the midst of the conflict.

When he was asked about Palestinians who fled to Gaza who returned as soon as it was safe, Witkoff noted that the 10-15-year-old timeline for the rebuilding was, but said: 'I don't know for sure if anyone has a problem … with People who return '
Witkoff, when asked if the president supports the return of Palestinians to Gaza, quoted the timeline of the administration for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip in 15 to 20 years.
“Level sets The facts suggest that nobody there can probably live in a safe environment for at least 15 years,” Witkoff said.
He added: “I'm not sure if anyone has a problem … with people who return.”
Hamas terrorists fell on October 7, 2023 and has been working on the greatest single-day mass murder of Jewish people since the Holocaust.
The invasion led to war that lasted more than a year before a ceasefire was reached as soon as Trump was re -elected for a second term.
Trump promised when he came into office, he would put an end to the conflict of Israeli-Hamas-Ever, the war between Russia and Ukraine.
He claims that neither of them would have led if he was president for a second consecutive term instead of Joe Biden was chosen in 2020.
