Singer Roberta Flack died at the age of 88.

Her representatives announced her death, but did not offer a cause of death, as reported by Variety.
“We are deeply saddened that the glorious Roberta -Flack this morning, February 24, 2025,” said her representatives in a statement published on Monday.
“She died peacefully surrounded by her family. Roberta broke boundaries and records. She was also a proud educator. '
Flack announced in 2022 that she had as well known as Lou's disease, and could no longer sing.
