A former senior assistant for the sussexes that Meghan Markle accused of plague staff 'from the royal household' has insisted that he would 'not change' and 'no regret' in his first TV interview.
In what has been conceived as a thin -veil excavation with his former employers, Jason Knauf seemed to remain in his complaint from 2018 about the alleged behavior of the Duchess of Sussex that leaked just before the Oprah interview of the couple in 2021.
“The Duchess seems to have the intention of always having someone in her sights,” he had written in an e -mail where he accused Meghan of 'bullying' and undermined the confidence of two employees.
Mr. Knauf, a new -Zeelander who worked as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Pers Secretaryappeared in a new documentary for 60 minutes of Australia, where there is a will.
When asked if it was difficult to put him in the spotlight after the leak of his e -mails and bullying allegations against Meghan, he said: “I would not change anything.”
Jason added cryptically about the need for people in the public interest in 'sometimes taking your own medicine' – a nod to his years of advising the press, also on behalf of the Sussexes.
In 2018 he had sent an internal e -mail to create concern about Meghan's alleged poor treatment of staff in the royal family, who was later leaked after Megxit.
'I am very worried that the Duchess could only bully two out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X was totally unacceptable, “he reportedly wrote.
'The Duchess seems to always have someone in her sights. She plague y and tries to undermine her confidence. We had a report after the report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behavior towards Y. ''
Four years after he had left the Royal Service Jason Finally broke his silence in a documentary where he also praised Harry's brother William and said that working for the future king and his wife was 'the honor of your life'.
In an extraordinary interview he also said the Stranger between Prince Harry and Prince William has been 'hard and sad', but added that William chose to be 'private'. And added frankly that William was the 'lowest' he had ever seen After he received news that the princess of Wales and King Charles both had the diagnosis of cancer.
Jason was made a lieutenant of the Royal Victorian order in 2023 by the Prince of Wales in Windsor Castle – which shows how good the relationship is.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has always denied the allegations of bullying, which she described an orchestrated smear campaign against her.
The spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said at the time: “Let's just call this what it is, a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful wrong information.”
There was also a statement to the media that called the plague claims Defamtory.
In public speaking for the first time about the controversy, Jason Knauf told Australia for 60 minutes, he would 'not change anything' and has 'no regret'.
'I find it difficult, but it is probably pretty good.
'You know someone who helped other people by how to deal with the public eye. You probably sometimes had to take your own medicine.
'You can't choose to take the fun things in every job, and that also applies to the prince and princess. So I would not change anything '.
Prior to their disagreement, Jason said that he had 'great times' with the Sussexes, and said that their Windsor Wedding 2018 was a 'magical experience'.
Elsewhere, Jason opened his time to work for Harry and Meghan and said he wishes them 'the absolute best'.
He said, “We had many great times, working on their wedding was a great magical experience and I definitely wish them the very best with their dear family.”
Buckingham Palace launched an internal assessment of the plague claims, but the findings were never made public.
Meghan meanwhile said they were a “calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful wrong information.”
In the documentary, Jason also appealed to William and Harry's broken relationship and said that the Prince of Wales has chosen to be 'private'.
In 2019, rumors began to circling that the brothers had fallen and Harry for the first time in the documentary Harry & Meghan: an African journey, where he said they 'have good days, you have bad days'.
In the new documentary, Jason said: 'We have ups and downs in family, even if you really love someone, you can have times when you don't want to spend much time with them.
'It is very difficult to have this stuff play in the public interest, but he has chosen to keep his thoughts on it private and I think we all have to respect him.
“We have to do the same, but I will say that it has of course been difficult and sad, especially for all of us they both know.”
Jason Knauf became a special adviser from William and Kate and then Chief Executive of the Royal Foundation, the charity arm of their official operations.
During his time that worked for the couple, Mr. Knauf helped start the high -profile Earthshot Environmental Awards of William and to undertake the heads of the couple together initiative for mental health care, and 36 foreign trips with them.
He left the foundation in 2021 to move abroad.

'Receiving this recognition means more to me than I can say. I am incredibly grateful. '
The Book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind The Crown by Valentine Low has explored the e -mails further.
One extract told how Palace Press Chief Jason Knauf wrote an e -mail in 2018 to Prince William's private secretary Simon Case about 'very serious problems' with Meghan's behavior.
It said: “I am very concerned that the Duchess could only bully two out of the household in the past year … The Duchess seems to have the intention of always having someone in her sights.”
In 2024, both Kate and Charles were diagnosed with non -known forms of cancer – in which Prince William later thinks about how the year was 'brutal' for the family.
At the same time, Wild conspiracy theories took over social media about Kate's place of residence while taking the time out of the public eye.
In the documentary, Jason told how William was the 'lowest' he had ever seen, because he was informed about Kate's disease during a personal phone call with the prince.
He said: 'Within a few weeks when you are Prince William, you will find out that both your wife and your father have cancer. I couldn't believe it. It was terrible, absolutely terrible. It is the lowest I've ever seen.

Mr. Knauf was depicted with the princess of Wales during a visit to Scotland in 2021
'But the problem was that all this crazy conspiracy theory things started online in the background.
“Was she really sick? But they did not want to say that she had cancer because they had not told the children and they were still working how to tell the children. '
Elsewhere in the documentary, which was released on Sunday, De Royal Aide revealed that there was almost an accident with the announcement of the birth of Princess Charlotte in 2015.
He said that Kate and William informed him about the arrival of their daughter early – even before some members of the family were informed.
But the news of her birth leaked almost two hours before the palace was ready to announce it, after Jason realized that he had 'dropped' the press release somewhere on the street.
The release contained valuable details, including the time of birth and how much Charlotte weighed.
But in a wonderful way, none of the media succeeded in getting it and the announcement continued as planned.
Jason remembered: 'We would not announce it for a few more hours and I had this piece of paper to write this press release
“I am still there with hundreds of journalists trying to have a game face, and then I couldn't find the piece of paper, and I think I had dropped it somewhere on the street.”
He added: 'We managed to get through, but not to announce it. But somewhere on that street, a piece of paper was all that said that a little princess had been born, what time and how much she weighed.
'It was one of those things, such as heart in the mouth until we came to the announcement and I came through it. I never found it and none of the media did not do either. So that is all that really mattered. '
The 60 minutes of documentary, where there is a will, speaks to journalists and royal assistants about the future king of England and investigates what kind of leader he will probably be.
