The attacking tackle of Seattle Seahawks Jason Peters is expected to announce his retirement, the general director of the team has unveiled.
Peters, who won a super bowl ring in 2018 while he enjoyed 19 seasons and 248 games as a NFL player at the Philadelphia Eagles.
And now, according to Seahawks GM John Schneider, the 43-year-old will bring down the curtain after two years in Seattle, according to Seahawks GM John Schneider.
Schneider told the media on the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Tuesday that Peters is retiring this outside of season, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The veteran, who spent last season in the Seattle practice team, joined the team in 2023 after previous Stints with the Buffalo Bills and the Eagles.
After collecting the bills in 2004 as an unsigned free agent, he continued in Buffalo for five years before he went to Philadelphia.

Peters only appeared seven performances in the Super Bowl-winning campaign of the Eagles 2017 after tearing his ACL and MCL for a month in the season.
Before that super bowl triumph over the New England Patriots, Philadelphia captain Lane Johnson ran the tunnel that held his wounded teammate's sweater up as an emotional tribute to him in Minneapolis.
The Eagles defeat the Patriots 41-33 that night, enjoying Peters with the team with the team before he went to Seattle.
After he initially joined the Seahawks practice team in the midst of injuries for important players, he moved to the active selection in November 2023 and finally made eight appearance on that season.
However, the Super Bowl winner has not appeared in the past term while he stayed in the practice team.
