Republican Congressman and former navy seal Dan Crenshaw was apparently caught on a hot microphone who threatened to kill former Fox News -guest Tucker Carlson.
The Texas representative had just finished giving an interview with conservative British Nieuwskanaal GB News when reporter Steven Edginton asked him if he had ever met the former Fox host.
Crenshaw then seemed to admit that he had not met Carlson personally, but then said, “If I ever met him, I will kill him.”
He apparently started calling Carlson 'the worst person'.
The comments came after a fiery interview in which Crenshaw criticized Carlson's opposition against American aid against Ukraine and said that he “don't know what he's talking about,” said Politrico.
But when Carlson-Alongrual Marjorie Taylor Greene later asked the congress member on X if he threatened her friend, Crenshaw denied the accusation and wrote, “Lol, no.”
In a series of messages on X, however, Edginton provided proof of Crenshaw's comments – although the clip has since been removed by the news channel.
“He told me when I laughed, it wasn't a joke,” the journalist claimed.
