A doctor has unveiled the horrible consequences of eating non -eaten meat in response to images of a tapeworm that is pulled out of the mouth of a woman.
Dr. Myro Fugura, a US -based anesthetist, told his a million followers on Instagram not to consume pork.
Those who, he explains, can run the risk of being infected by a tapeworm-a long, ribbon-like parasite that can live in human intestine.
The video, on which Dr. Fugura does not refer to a source before, shows a woman who seems to be stunned and on an operating table.
She lies by her side and has a mouth protector, which indicates that she has undergone an endoscopy – where surgical instruments and a camera are passed through the throat.
Surgeons are pulled out the tapeworm through the mouth of the woman and placing – bit by bit – in a surgical dish next to her.
The pull many times before the end of the extraordinarily long worm is reached.
Responding to the abdominal changing video images, Dr. Fugura: 'They pull it out of her belly … you usually understand [tapeworms] From not eating meat.
'[They think] A tapeworm can help them lose weight, but that is not at all something that I would recommend. '
He added: 'They can be up to 30 feet long and can live for 20 years plus.
'You go nausea in weight loss, vomiting, nutritional shortages and getting the crazy part, people have deliberately eaten these eggs.
Disgusting users of social media noted that this type of horror stories is why they avoid meat. It was noted: “That's why I follow a no pork no shellfish diet.”
Another said, “That's why I always cook my meat too.”
Many also explained that this is the reason why some religions advise people not to eat pork.
“This is why pork is Haram. I keep saying this, “they said.
But many commentators revealed that they eat pork and ensure that they prepare it correctly.
A user on social media noticed: “I have been eaten pork since my birth and that also applies to my family and everyone I know and even had no worms or bandworms and we come from a country that mainly consumes pork.”
Others emphasized that you can also get worms from eating non -picked fish and beef.
Others made jokes about how attractive the parasite sounded because it can cause weight loss.
One even called it the “forbidden Ozempic” and another noticed: “It sounds like I need a tape worm to lose weight.”
But another was shocked and said, “Really not, I'll just stay fat.”
Previous horror stories of tapeworms include a construction worker from China who had more than 700 tapeworms in his brain and lungs, a month after he ate uncooked pork.
Another stomach -grain story was shared by a Brazilian medic who revealed images of an X -ray that showed hundreds of clear spots, each that represents the calibrated remains of a parasite of a tapeworm plague.
Pork can contain larval cysts from the turf to the pork, Taenia Solium that can cause an infection if it is eaten.
These cysts can then develop into a tapeworm for adults in the intestines that produce eggs that are then set out by stool.
In many cases the symptoms of a tapeworm can be mild, but it can cause nausea, stomach pain and weight loss.
The NHS warns that this disease usually lasts longer than two weeks and in some cases people can spot pieces of worm or worm eggs in their stools.
In many cases, tapeworms are treated with an oral anti -parasitic medicine.
A parasite infection can be prevented by thoroughly boiling pork and by washing hands with soap and water before and after touching raw meat.
