Pers Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on Tuesday that the White House would now determine which reporters are the press 'Pool' of the press – the group of journalists admitted in tight spaces such as the Oval Office and Air Force One.
Polar assignments were in the hands of a democratically chosen group of journalists, De Witte Huis Correspondents' Association, to prevent the White House from having access to Gate Watch.
President Donald Trump's White House has already driven the Associated Press out of the pool about the refusal of the wire service to turn the Gulf of Mexico into 'Gulf of America' in the influential style guide of AP.
During Tuesday's briefing, Leavitt claimed that the new movement 'would give more access to the American people'.
“We want more points of sale and new points of sale to get a chance to participate in the perspool to cover the unprecedented performance of the administration up close,” she said.
She continued: 'As you have known for decades, a group of DC-based journalists, De Witte Huis Correspondents' Association has long dictated which journalists can ask the president of the United States in these most intimate spaces. '
“Not anymore,” said the 27-year-old press secretary.
“I am proud to announce that we will give the power back to the people who read your papers, watch your TV shows and who listen to your radio stations,” Leavitt said. “Progress is the White House -Persbad determined by the Press team of the White House.”

Traditionally, the swimming pool consists of a reporter who represents the Three Wire Services – the Associated Press, Reuters and Bloomberg – a television team and correspondent, a print reporter, a radio reporter and five stationary photographers, who also contain the AP.
There are 13 press chairs available at Air Force One – and media pay for their flights on board the presidential aircraft.
No one took the place of the AP reporter and photographer who were started by Trump's Presidents' Weekend trip to Mar-A-Lago and Miami.
Leavitt said that 'legacy stores' may still be to become a member of the swimming pool.
“But new voices will also be welcomed,” she said.
The press secretary said that a TV crew would still be invited to become a member of the swimming pool, just like a printed reporter – who represents both newspapers and online points of sale – and a radio player.
She said the White House would add print and radio stores that have been refused access. '
“And we will add extra points of sale and reporters who are well suited to cover the news of the DSay and ask substantive questions to the president of the United States,” Leavitt said.
She did not say whether the White House would continue to allow wire services to maintain a reporter in the swimming pool every day.
