Lester Holt's reviews rival David Muir has paid tribute to the departing NBC Nightly News anchor in a glowing tribute post.
The host of ABC World News Tonight wrote the tribute on Monday, just a few hours after Holt revealed that he left NBC Nightly News after a decade at the desk.
Muir offered his respect and shared a short message and a few photos of him and collect together.

Muir's Show – once staffed by people like Peter Jennings – was already strong in first place and beat the second place of Holt broadcast by almost 2 million viewers for a few nights.
The departure of O'Donnell from CBS News has dropped the assessments there in a quarter, with Holt's threatening output of nightly news that may have a similar effect.
“The research shows that both David and Lester are both loved,” a senior executive told DailyMail.com with years of experience on Tuesday.
'But with CBS Evening News in unrest, without a real star and uncertainty at Nightly News about whom Lester will replace, viewers will certainly taste more World News tonight.
“People want a fixed ship during uncertain times,” they went on, because networks such as CBS, MSNBC and CNN all continue to implement change to increase decreasing assessments.
“The gap can continue to grow.”
When NBC Nightly News clash cheaply, insiders believe that the shine and sources of World News Tonight may be even more attractive for viewers.
CBS News, on the other hand, – recently routed by a round of dismissals – has reduced and changed their broadcasts, part of makeover of Exec Wendy McMahon.
