An obsessed fan has admitted that he was stamping a strictly upcoming dance court for six years, a court heard.
Kyle Shaw, 37, pleaded guilty at the Liverpool Crown Court around Shirley Ballas, 64, between 31 August 2017 and 29 November 2023 in Stalken.
The 37-year-old from Wirral also admitted that he has a quantity of cannabis, but received conditional bail prior to a hearing of the conviction on 1 April.
It was said that his behavior had left Shirley 'seriously alerted and sad “and was unable to continue her usual daily activities.
Ballas, originally from Wallasey, Wirral, has been the main judge of the BBC show since 2017.

It comes months after Shirley called the police when an alleged stalker took her out and took pictures of her house and car '. It is not known whether the incident was linked to Shaw.
Shirley previously revealed at the invitation of the Mirror Only Podcast that she was much more 'vigilant' after Gavin Plumb was convicted of his attempts to abduct TV presenter Holly Willoughby.
She said: 'There was a certain person who stalked me a bit. That is currently being investigated, as we speak.
'I know his computer and telephone, everything has been seized. He took pictures of my house, he had my house, he had my car. So yes, there have been times when I have been anxious.
'I meet people and they are real, the majority of people are fantastic, but then you will radiate once or twice …. this one person will come to me, and he really feels that he knows me. He feels he knows me. But he only knows me from the TV. Or from following me on social media. And that is quite alarming.
'So, you know, I always have George, the man who has driven me in the last five years, first stand out of the car, always scan.
“I wouldn't say it's the healthiest. You know, I like to be a bit like a free bird, but we now come in times when you have to be more watchful for yourself. '

She said: 'I am a very vigilant person. When I go, I am careful not to go alone. If it's at night, I'm always a bit nervous.
“There is what you read on social media, (and then) especially with Holly – her experiences.”
She added: 'So yes, I take nothing slightly. There are many great people, but there are a few strange people who are there. It is quite difficult and always makes you a little more precautionary. '
