Photos of the bruise came to the fore after Trump, 78, French President Emmanuel Macron met in the White House on Monday to discuss a possible end of the Russian war against Ukraine.
Trump and Macron, 47, awkwardly shake hands three times during their meeting in DC, where the couple even grabbed each other for 12 seconds when they were reunited.
