A flight from United Airlines was forced to make an emergency landing on Newark Airport in New Jersey on Tuesday.
Flight 1544 left Newark Airport just before 6 hours and was on its way to the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
But the plane turned in after an hour in the air and returned to Newark, with the pilots who quoted a non -specific mechanical problem, according to Port Authority officials.
The plane wore 176 passengers and six crew members.
“United Flight 1544 to Las Vegas returned to Newark Liberty International Airport to tackle a possible mechanical problem,” the airline said in a statement.
'The flight landed safely and all passengers were normally at the gate. We have organized that another plane brings our customers to Las Vegas this morning. '

It comes weeks after a united plane from Nigeria made an emergency landing at the same airport after six people were injured after an unexpected shock in the air.

In the meantime, on Monday, the passengers of Delta Air Lines were forced to evacuate after smoke filled the hut on Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday.
The Boeing 717-200 was on its way to Columbia Metropolitan Airport, South Carolina, when Haze overwhelmed the hut.
The flight landed around 9 a.m. – and all 94 passengers, two pilots and three stewardesses on board were forced to flee the plane with the help of the Emergent Exit Dears.
