The grieving parents of a 22-month-old boy who died after systematic failures in a hospital in Sydney, have welcomed major changes to be implemented in NSW.
The parents of Joe Massa Elouise and Danny met NSW prime minister Chris Minns and Minister of Health Ryan Park on Wednesday after last week Brally pronounced about his death in the Northern Beaches Hospital last September.
Many tears were during the structural but positive encounter.
“They were moved to tears, we were moved to tears … We thought that this trip, which was only a week before us in terms of in the media, was worth it, worth every moment of heartache, 'MS Said mass.
The Balgowlah pair hurried on the morning of 14 September their 'clear and loving' baby boy to the emergency department of the hospital.
Joe had spent the night violently and suffered from a life -threatening condition called Hypovolemia after losing too much liquid.
After a series of failures and wrong diagnoses, Joe suffered serious and irreversible brain damage and his living support was eliminated three days later.
Five months later, the masses are convinced that change is on its way in the state, which will become known as the rule of Joe in honor of their son.

The implementation of Joe's rule will anchor the right of a parent to hear during the treatment of their children.
“Today is a big win for Joe and for every child in NSW, because we are changing change,” said Mrs. Massa as she grabbed her toddler's sweater.
“(NSW Health Secretary) Susan Pearce will put together a round table around the Reach protocol and converting Joe as a rule.”
'[It’s] Overwhelming we know that Joe's life mattered, I think we have a sense of relief that his death in his death will also matter. '
Her husband wants to make it easier for parents to get help for their children and that the current REACH protocol-that stands for 'acknowledging, involving, acting, calling, helping is on the way' is complex and not known.
“There is the intention to simplify the reach of an acronym of five words in something that is easily digestible for a parent or caregiver who is and is stressed in the Emergency Department, and they can easily perform their rights at that time,” ” Said mass.
The masses have also asked for the public-private partnership that rules the hospital to be deleted.
“Chris Minns is open to and investigates an independent and parliamentary assessment of what happened in the Northern Beaches Hospital,” said Massa.

Mr Park described the meeting as 'powerful' and 'valuable', and added that 'some of the suggestions we intend to immediately move forward'.
He will also write about Attorney General Michael Daley to ask for a coronial investigation into Joe's death and will start independent investigation into emergency care.
The current and former Chief Executives of Healthscope, which runs the Northern Beaches Hospital, will be confronted with questions in the parliament of the State on Thursday.
Tino La Spina has only been Chief Executive for two weeks after the sudden departure of predecessor Greg Horan.
They are expected to have to deal with an intense grilling about Joe's care and the broader performance of the hospital under the management of Healthscope.

The masses left one of Joe's shoes with Prime Minister Minns and the other with NSW opposition leader Mark Speakman.
“I think we have a sense of relief that his life (s) will also matter in his death,” said his father.
In a statement last week, the massas said 'No parent should run a hospital with their bags instead of their child.
“Our son should be here today. He had his entire life for him and we trusted Northern Beaches Hospital to offer the care he needed. '
