Civil servants in Kyiv said that President Zensky is planning to visit the White House on Friday to complete the agreement.
In the meantime, President Trump also hinted that a deal was finally around the corner, because he confirmed reports that the Ukrainian leader would travel through the Atlantic Ocean this week.
“I hear that he is coming on Friday, it's certainly ok if he would like it,” Trump said reporters in the Oval Office last night.
Trump again expressed his support for the rare mineral agreement and noted that Ukraine had to repay the United States for the billions that received in military aid under the Biden administration.

Another added that Ukraine hopes that the signing of the agreement will guarantee the constant stream of American military support that Kyiv needs urgently.
