A deep -sea fisher has unveiled his newest catch – a nightmare -like creature that is compared to an alien.
With a large, spherical body that looks like a brain, shrunken eyes and gaping mouth, the fish looks like something of another planet.
But Visser Roman Fedortsov picked it from a northern part of the Pacific and shared images of the find with his 600,000 followers.
He identified the beast as an aptocycle Ventrica's – also known as the smooth lumpfish or smooth lumpsucker.
The type of fish in the sea jet fins is found in the deep sea and measures up to 44 cm.
Although their appearance is certainly unique, it seems to have undergone some swelling – probably because of the pressure change in the surface – resulting in the set -up body.
Roman, who largely works on a trawler in Murmansk in the northwestern part of Russia, shared a clip of the Beast on board the boat, which produced more than 200,000 views and convinced viewers that alien among us among us.

Deep sea fisher Fedortsov has previously reached the headlines thanks to other weird and beautiful catches.

In the meantime, he also caught a strange 'tarragon-like fish with yellow eyes, which was identified as a chimera, a cartilage fish that is also known as a' ghost shark '.

Fedortsov also discovered other marine animals that look striking on a cheeseburger and a juicy jam donut.

The Trawlerman has become something of a celebrity of his photos, with many of his images going viral, although he admits that he often has little idea what most of them are and which he shares out of curiosity.
Despite the many comments he gets, he said he found all the fish fascinating and not sharing the opinion of many that they were ugly monsters.
He said, “In their own way, all these beings are beautiful.”
