Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl actress Michelle Trachtenberg died at the age of 39.
Her death is not investigated as a suspect, police sources confirmed to the New York Post.
Trachtenberg was best known for her work as Buffy's (Sarah Michelle Gellar) Younger sister Dawn Summers in 66 episodes by Upn Teen Supernatural Drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer about 2000-2003.
The resident of Brooklyn also had a recurring role as 'The Witch of the Upper East Side' Georgina Sparks in 28 episodes of the CW Teen Soap Gossip Girl for 2008-2012.
In 2023, Michelle repeated her role as the wedding spoiling, manipulative socialite in two episodes of the second (and last) season of HBO Max's Rossdelmeise.
The last major performance of Trachtenberg was Executive Producing and Organizing the 13-episodes True-Crime-Docuseries Meet, Marry, Murder for Tubi TV in 2021.
