A model and prospective influencer accused of throwing a lamp to her ex-boyfriend in a chic restaurant will try to treat the business in the field of mental health care.
Natalie Marangos is said to have confronted Dean Contos when she reportedly saw him with another woman in the Japanese Eetcafe Tanuki in Double Bay in Sydney in East on Saturday evening.
Marangos, 34, was then reportedly captured on CCTV who picked up a table lamp and threw it to 37-year-old Contos.
She is accused of mistreatment with an actual physical injury and is operated with an interim -maintained order to protect her former partner.
Marangos appeared briefly in Downing Center Local Court on Wednesday when her lawyer said he would investigate that the cases are being dealt with under the provisions of the mental health of the law.
Lawyer Kiki Kyriacou said his client would be seen by a psychiatrist or psychologist and the results of that assessment would be brought to court.
Mr Kyriacou would also try to view CCTV images of the alleged incident and talk to the director of public prosecutions about individual charges against contacts relating to Marangos.
Last year, Contos was accused of deliberately suffocating a person without permission, stem or intimidating with the intention of causing fear, and two counts of violating an arrested order.

He will appear on Thursday in Downing Center Local Court and is also the subject of two interim -maintained violence assignments to protect Marangos.
Contos did not argue guilty of the stem or intimidate indictment, and one of the alleged AVO infringements last September, but did not introduce supplications to the other charges.
Tanuki was opened early last year in Bay Street by Adam Abrams and Eddie Levy, the team behind the nearby Matteo Italian restaurant.

NSWÂ Police confirmed officers attended Tanuki about 11.40pm on Saturday.
‘Officers were told a 34-year-old woman allegedly threw a lamp at a man known to her,’ a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
‘The man [allegedly] Persistent injuries on his face. '

Marangos would leave the restaurant before the police arrived and the next night was arrested at a Hurstville Grove address in the south of Sydney.
She was transferred to the Kogarah police station, where she was accused of domestic violence -related attack with an actual physical injury.
Contos is on bail, including conditions that he does not enter to Hurstville or goes within 3 km of that area.
He should not contact Marangos, do not drink alcohol or use drugs that are not prescribed by a doctor and must report to the police every day.
Contos is also required to wear an electronic monitoring device.
The Marangos case is again mentioned on March 19.
