The political party of Pauline Hanson has again hired a convicted sex offender to help run her campaign for the upcoming federal elections.
Sean Black, who was a former One Nation adviser, was sentenced in 2018 to five years in prison for raping and attacking his former wife.
Black was convicted of raping his ex-wife Tanya in a bathroom in 2007, pushed her down the stairs and crushed her hand in a door.
When distributing his sentence, the judge of Queensland said that Black did not show any regret for his crimes.
Black has since been hired by the party and appointed as a 'campaign director' at the head office of one country in Brisbane, where he handles applications of potential candidates for the upcoming elections, the ABC reported.
Party sources told the outlet that Black searched, interviewed, pass on approval to candidates and giving training and giving advice about campaigns.
The new position of Black for the One Nation Party has also made him an important strategist for the re -election bid of Senator Malcom Roberts.
Senator Roberts previously employed Black as a media adviser before being imprisoned.

One nation has again hired Sean Black as a 'campaign director', despite the fact that he served imprisonment for the rape and mistreatment of his former wife
The appointment marks the second time that the One Nation Party has again accepted Black after his conviction.
Black remained for five months as an adviser to Senator Roberts after being accused of rape.
His sentence was suspended to two years and three months and was subsequently accepted shortly after his release from prison in 2020.
However, one nation fired him within a few months after the party had to deal with a whole series of internal complaints.
Halfway through 2023, Black again worked at the party's head office in the role of 'campaign assistant/ campaign version', according to e-mails by the ABC.
The e -mails showed that Black was subsequently promoted to the role of 'Campaign Director' at the end of last year.
“He is a great advisor for the campaign,” a party source told the publication.
'He is responsible for giving advice on how to campaign, what kind of events, with the help of social media, and he is in charge of checking candidates.

This marks the second time that the One Nation Party Black has again adopted after his conviction (depicted, a national leader Pauline Hanson)
“His character of character is very important for the party and he leads the candidate training.”
Judge of the Glen Cash court said that Black 'effectively rehabilitated himself' and entailed a low risk of recidivism.
During the conviction, however, Judge Cash claimed that Black was willing to use violence to dominate his relationship and had shown 'no regret' for his crime.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted one nation for comment.
