Real Housewife from Potomac Karen Huger has been sentenced to two years in prison about her DI DUI order.
Huger, 61, arrived in court on Wednesday to learn her fate after her convictions before Several driving under influence shares after she crashed her Maserati Maryland in March 2024.
Prosecutors had beaten the Bravo star to serve six months in prison.
Huger's lawyers asked the judge to go softly on her, and claimed that she mourned her parents' death and struggled with antidepressants.
'Madam. Huger's mother died at Thanksgiving Morning in 2017 of kidney failure and sepsis. Her father died seven months later on 28 June 2018 of the complications of Alzheimer's and 'of a broken heart', Huger's lawyers said in a motion.
“Those two losses, quickly in succession, had been personally devastating for Mrs. Huger and, in her opinion, perhaps the straws that broke her back, which demonstrably led to various assessment errors that led to her arrest in this case.”

Huger was found guilty of driving at a speed too high for the circumstances before she finally hit a median and two plates.
After she was found guilty, Bodycam images from the night of her accident were released, in which she seemed incoherent, referring to herself like 'Thomas Jefferson's Concubine' and I told officers that she was 'extremely intelligent'.
Huger, who said the accident happened because she was in a 'super emotional state', was later accused of a Dui and DWI.
It was not Karen's first incident. In 2016 she told Bossip that she had been arrested 10 years earlier for driving under the influence.
