Companies admonished for their role in the tragedy of Grenfell Tower can be banned for future public deals under new plans.

She said that the government will use new powers under the Purchasing Act to investigate the companies.
If certain grounds are met, their names will be added to a venting list, which must be taken into account by authorities when granting new contracts and performing new purchasing.
