US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that it was up to Europe to offer Ukraine security guarantees, which refused to promise us as part of a deal for the natural resources of Ukraine.
“I'm not going to make many security guarantees,” Trump said during a cabinet meeting.
“We are going to let Europe do that because … Europe is their neighbor, but we will make sure that everything goes well.”
Trump returned to the discussion about a minerals dealing with Ukraine, after he told his cabinet that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy will visit the US on Friday to sign a 'very big agreement'.
“The deal we make brings us great wealth,” Trump added. “We get the money we have spent, and we hope we can solve this.”
The American leader continued to say that it is also a 'big deal for Ukraine', which suggests that there will be 'automatic security' because 'no one will mess with people when we are there'.
When he interviewed in dealing with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump noticed him as “cunning” as he claimed that he “was not going to arrange this war.”
“He is a very smart guy, he is a very cunning person,” Trump said reporters.

'I have had to deal with some really bad people, but I will tell you what this is concerned, in my opinion he was not going to arrange this war.
“I think he wanted the whole thing when I was chosen, we spoke and I think we will have a deal.”
Trump further said that if he was not chosen: 'I believe he [Putin] Would have just kept going through Ukraine '.
He added: “Many people would have been killed for a certain period.”
Trump then faulted the Ukraine-Russian war on NATO and told reporters: 'You can forget it. That is probably the reason that it all started. '
It comes after the Ukrainian President VolodyMyr Zensky said today that a framework -economic deal with the United States is ready – but security guarantees that KYIV views have to be decided as essential.
A Senior Ukrainian officer said on Tuesday at the end of Tuesday that KYIV had agreed the conditions of the deal, so that the United States would jointly develop the mineral resources of Ukraine, and that Zensky could sign it in Washington on Friday.
A full agreement could already depend on conversations in Washington on Friday in Washington.
“I would really like to have this visit,” Zensky told reporters on Wednesday.
'This is just a start, a framework, it can be a great success. The success will depend on our conversation with President Trump, “he added.
But there is confusion about whether Zensky Washington will actually visit after an official from the White House had picked up doubts about whether an invitation to meet Trump would be logical in view of Zensky's comments that a minerals deal is not complete.
“If the Ukrainian leader says that the deal has not been completed, I don't see why an invitation would be logical,” the official told Reuters.
“There is an expectation that his arrival is to recognize a definitive position (about the mineral deal) and he is not in a definitive position in his own words in this new formulation.”
Zensky admitted that a major problem could conclude the agreement and said that Ukraine should know where the United States is able to put its continuous military support.
He said he expected to have a broad substantive conversation with US President Donald Trump during a visit to Washington. “I want to coordinate with the US,” said Zensky.
Zensky said that the most important topics he wants to discuss with Trump are or the US is planning to stop military help and, if so, whether Ukraine could buy weapons directly from America.
Ukraine hopes that the deal will improve relations with the Trump administration, which are soured in a words war between Trump and Zensky.
Zensky said that the income from the means agreement would be deposited into a Fund for Co-Okraine and the United States, and that Kiev would not be 'a debtor' for the help of the Biden administration.
“This would be unfair to us,” said Zensky.
He also said that he would ask Trump if Washington would stop the help completely, and if so, whether Ukraine could still buy weapons from the United States.
KYIV also wants security guarantees, although the current design of the deal does not place specific security obligations in the United States, a Senior Ukrainian officer told AFP.
Zensky also wants to know whether Ukraine can use frozen Russian assets for arms investments and whether Washington is planning to increase sanctions against Russia.
