Chiefs star Harrison Butker received a special trip to the White House on Thursday to meet President Donald Trump – despite their crushing defeat in the Super Bowl earlier this month.
Butker visited Trump a year after his division state at the Benedictine College, when he was furious by suggesting that women have to give priority to mothers who stay at home, the pro -abortion attitude of Joe Biden and reaching the LGBTQ+ community criticized.
Almost three weeks after their super bowl humiliating against the Philadelphia Eagles, the star kicker of the Chiefs was seen on Thursday Trump in the Oval Office after he went to Washington.
Witte Huis Communicatie -adviser Margo Martin shared a photo of the couple on X and wrote: “The goat of Schoppen meets the goat of presidents.”
It is currently unclear why Trump invited Butker and what they discussed during his visit.
But since the Eagles still have to meet him after their victory, his fans are stunned about why the Kansas City player was first invited to the White House.

A user wrote on X: “He knew … he knows they lost?”
Another comment: 'Why? They did not win the Super Bowl '.
“He brings in losers?” A third asked.
“Funny, he usually prefers winners,” said a fourth.
Another sigh: 'For the world champion Eagles. Ugh. #Gobirds'.
While sarcastic joking: “He played so well in the Super Bowl!”
Butker attracted fierce criticism when he spoke to students at the Benedictine College last year, with a number of fans and controversial figures that expressed anger about his comments.
A petition for the chiefs to cut him out of their selection received nearly 250,000 signatures, while even some of his teammates – including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce – publicly admitted that they do not share the same views.
But for their super bowl loss for the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9, Butker said he was not regretted.
“God gave me this platform and I am going to say what I believe is true and what I keep close to my heart,” he said a few days in the game in New Orleans.

The kicker caused indignation last year with his controversial start speech
“Many boys had different opinions about it,” he added, “but we all love each other in that dressing room. We all know who we are.
'All the guys understood where I came from. They respect me. They respect what I have to say. And I have nothing to apologize for. '
Butker and the Chiefs are still faltering from their 40-22 defeat to the Eagles in New Orleans, who saw them missing on a historic super bowl three-peat.
Star Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has passed a rare outside the night after having had six pockets and to throw two interceptions, while Travis Kelce was largely anonymous with girlfriend Taylor Swift who looked from the stands.
Trump was also present that night and became the first sitting president in history to look a super bowl in the flesh after he had shown his face at Caesar's Super dome.
After their victory, it was speculated that the Eagles would reject the traditional audience with the President in the White House.

But after it turned out that they would be 'honored' to visit, Trump dedicated his assistants to send the official invitation on Tuesday.
“They will be (invited). We don't have that yet, but we will be. I thought it was a great achievement by that time and they will absolutely be expanded that invitation, “he said, before he” does it right away. “
“We're going to do it somewhere today. They deserve to be here and we hope to see them. '
It would be the first time that the Eagles visited the White House with the Vince Lombardi trophy.
They won the Super Bowl in February 2018, during Trump's first term of office, but the team did not go to the capital of the nation.
After rumors about a potential player boycott, Trump did not pronounced the team of the usual visit. It came in the midst of his war with the NFL about protests during the national anthem.
