Michael Bolton shared a rare family photo after his shock diagnosis of brain tumor.
The Grammy-winning singer celebrated his 72nd birthday on Wednesday and marked the special occasion with a photo of his children and grandchildren.
He went to Facebook to share the snapshot of him with his family while they were sitting at their dining table in a room full of festive decorations.
“Spending my birthday full of love and gratitude,” he wrote in his caption next to the photo. “I wish you all the same, today and every day!”
His birthday celebration comes only a few weeks after he had canceled his upcoming London concert while he continues to recover from brain surgery in the midst of his cancer fight.
The hit maker looked weak in a polo shirt and stopped glasses with black frames in the collar of his top. He had a sweet smile on his face while his family circled around him.

Two of his adult daughters, Holly and Taryn, were present in the snapshot next to three of his granddaughters.
Bolton's third daughter Isa could not be seen in the photo.
At the end of 2023, Bolton was diagnosed with brain cancer, for which he had to undergo 'immediate operation'.
In January 2024 he shared a candid Facebook message with his fans and shared a health update.
'I want to start wishing everyone a very happy and healthy New Year! I also want to share that 2023 eventually presented me some very unexpected challenges, “he wrote.
“Just before the holidays it was discovered that I had a brain tumor who required immediate operation,” he went on.

With hope and optimism, Bolton added: 'Thanks to my incredible medical team, the operation was a success. I now recover at home and surrounded by the enormous love and support of my family. '
At the time, the musician said that he will “devote my time and energy to my recovery” and will “take a temporary break of Touring.”
“It is always the hardest thing for me to disappoint my fans ever or to postpone a show, but I have no doubt that I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and to perform again soon.”
Earlier this month he canceled his performance in London, which was originally planned for the summer.
He explained that the cancellation was due to his repair of emergency operations for a brain tumor.
“You all know how much I looked forward to this show, but I will continue to heal an operation,” he announced earlier this month in his Instagram story.
