A hidden loft in the house of missing Claudia Lawrence was never searched by the police, her mourning mother said.
Chef Claudia was 35 when she disappeared without a trail after she was not working at York University on 19 March 2009.
Despite an extensive investigation, her case remains a mystery and it has become one of the most famous unsolved murders of Great Britain.
Her mother Joan Lawrence, 81, said that she 'had absolutely no idea' that the secret loft existed until she recently visited with a podcast crew, the Mirror reported for the first time.
Although she wants the new area to be searched, she said she does not want a police in the building because she has “lost all the trust and trust in them.”
“I am completely exhausted. Every time I find something new, it allows me emotionally and reminds me that I have had absolutely no closure, “she told the mirror.
“I don't want the police to do it alone, because they didn't do it the first time. I would be happier with someone like the Locate International who goes inside. '

The search for Claudia was launched after her friend was worried when she did not appear in her local pub the Nag's head.
Friends inquired Claudia's father Peter the next day when she still didn't answer any calls. Peter visited her house in the Heworth area of York to discover that she was nowhere to be seen.
Five weeks after she was reported as a missing person, the case was escalated to a presumably investigation into murder – even though her body was never found.
What followed was a search that cost more than £ 1.5 million, with hundreds of officers who work to merge what happened to the chef.
The police of North Yorkshire have conducted two investigations and interviewed nine people, but there were never charges.
The police believe that Claudia was murdered, but her body has never really been found.
A number of searches were recently performed in 2021, but it didn't help.
