Sarah Michelle Gellar has paid tribute to her Buffy The Vampire Slayer Costar Michelle Trachtenberg after she died at the age of 39.
The veteran actress, 47, went to Instagram on Thursday morning, the day after the news broke out that Trachtenberg died after poor health after a liver transplant.
Citing lines from their show, in which the pair of sisters played, wrote the star: 'Michelle, listen to me. Listen. I love you. I'll always love you. The most difficult in this world is to live in it. I will be brave. I will live … for you. '
Gellar's friend, colleague actress Jessica Alba, 43, wrote in the commentary: “I'm so sorry.”
Gellar's words were accompanied by different images of themselves with Trachtenberg. Some were frank, while some were out of their TV program, and one included the deceased actress Shannen Doherty, who died of cancer last year at the age of 53.

Gellar's Post comes after colleague -buffy star James Marsters has brought a sincere tribute to Trachtenberg.
The 62-year-old actor greeted his former Costar as' very talented 'and wrote on Instagram:' My heart is tough today. We have lost a beautiful soul.
'Michelle was fierce intelligent, married funny and a very talented person. She died far too young and leaves dozens of people who knew her and loved her.
'My heart goes out to her family who are good people and suffer from the greatest loss that someone could bear. I hope everyone can give them room to cure in this most difficult time.
“Godspeed Michelle. You are missed. '
Trachtenberg's gossip girl Costar Chace Crawford, 39, shared: 'Michelle was unique in his kind. I remember that she came on the set for the first time and just absolutely owns it. She was a natural force and just so unapologically funny and magnetic … who remember for years with a big smile. Just a terrible loss. Love you ❤️. '

Trachtenberg – who was best known for the leading role in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl – was found dead on Wednesday in her apartment in Manhattan.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) has confirmed to people that it responded to a call of 911 on 1 Columbus Place in New York City.
The NYPD added: 'Upon arrival, officers saw a 39-year-old female unconscious and non-reacting.
EMS responded to the location and explained the deceased victim. Crime is not suspected. '
