A woman has shared why you always have to update your photo ID … in case you have a glow-up.
Content maker Alex McCartney went to Tiktok to share a warning story about the uncomfortable situations in which she is placed when people think she is using a fake ID.
In the clip, McCartney, who lives in San Diego, revealed that she recently bought some wine from Trader Joe's when she was asked to show identification.
According to McCartney, the store employee told her that the photo on the ID 'literally looks like a completely different person,' asking her a series of questions to prove that it was.
They test McCartney and say that the person asked her birthday, address and card exporting date- in which the shopper said annoyed that she was becoming 30 on February 24.
The cashier received another person to view her ID, where McCartney pointed out that she had lost weight since the photo was taken.
McCartney said that her ID also led to a number of uncomfortable encounters during dating, asking him to show it while he is on a date in a bar.
The prospective Pilates teacher ordered a pitcher of beer with her date, when the bartender was unable to verify that she was in the photo before he got a second opinion, got another bartender.

After she confirmed it, and returned her ID, the date of McCartney asked the bartender why they took so long to give it back – with the answer her surprising.
'Yes, I'm not going to lie. She used to be a lot heavier in this photo, “she told the bartender who said.
McCartney briefly explained that she had recently lost weight, but did not think she was unrecognizable.
She said her date then asked to see her photo, where he looked at how much her ID said she weighed, and asked her, “So were you fat in the past?”
According to McCartney, this led to a discussion about weight, dating and what society considers attractive and acceptable.
“I don't enjoy this conversation, like this is not a pleasant subject,” she complained.
“Take this as a reminder that you have to have your ID photo changed,” she insisted.
Commentators considered the date of McCartney as a 'red flag' – and used their own stories about when they were not recognized from their ID.
