A vehicle rammed on Thursday in pedestrians in North -Israel in what the police described as a 'suspected terror attack', with ten people who would have been injured.
“There is suspicion that this is a terror attack. Polities have successfully intercepted a suspicious vehicle and arrested a suspect who is probably responsible for ramming 'on Highway 65 on the Karkur Junction south of the city of Haifa, the police said in a statement.
The attack took place at 4.18 p.m. Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, a nearby hospital, said it had received ten people.
One is in a critical condition, two are in a serious state, one is in a moderate state and six are in a mild state.
A spokesperson for the Israel police said that “according to the initial details, the person who was arrested by the officers, is the one who carried out the attack.”
“The terrorist ran over different people at a bus station and then crossed to stab others and crashed on a police vehicle.”
Israeli police said they had shot the attacker dead and described him as a 24-year-old Israeli Arab of Ma'ale Iron without a criminal or safety record.
They still investigate the attack and consider all possible motives and causes.

Maya, an eyewitness, told Haaretz that she saw a large black vehicle moving to the bus stop in the intersection and hit people in it.
