Thaddeus Matthews, the pronounced and controversial leader of the Naked Truth Liberation and Empowerment Minces in Memphis, Tennessee, died at the age of 67.
Known on a large scale as the 'Cussing Pastor', Matthews died on Monday in a hospital after suffering from heart failure, according to a FOX13 interview with his alienated woman, Melanie Matthews.
Matthews received national attention for his unfiltered preaching style, often peppered with blasphemy, which attracted both criticism and admiration.
He reached the headlines in 2019 for organizing a work in his church, in which he embraced a rough and unconventional approach to UNAP aPological service.
In an interview with the Christian Post from 2018, he rejected the concern about his language.

Two years later, Matthews was re -arrested and accused of intimidation.
He was also confronted with similar charges in 2022 for alleged violation of a protection order and the 'revenge porn' law of Tennessee.
In response to a return on his preaching, Matthews also rejected the idea that his words were offensive in the biblical sense.
“There is a difference between 'swearing' and 'cursing', 'he explained.

“I know that many people thought he was playing with God because of his vocabulary, but I know he loved God,” Melanie told Fox13.
