The owner of the smallest pub in Europe must be one of one of the highest landlords of Britain, towering at 6ft 5 – and always hits his head.
Barry Hayes, 60, is the owner of the Circus Tavern in the center of Manchester, which is only 45 feet long, with the beam itself only three feet long.
The gigantic landlord, who has had the pub for 15 years, said, “There is so often that I have hit my head.”
Good luck with waving a cat here if this is your local, which George counts best to his earlier gamblers – a sanctuary in so -called 'George's Corner' markings where the football player liked. Hayes said: 'You can officially fit around 45 people in the pub if they all sit down.
“But about 70 people can fit in when they get up.”
The small size of the Boozer – especially packed on competition days – means that this is perhaps the only one in the entire country where it is acceptable to put a single file for a pint in line, just to fit everyone.
It is good news for Gen Z Gokkers, who tend to set up a drink as they are at a bus stop, instead of approaching the bar, according to Pub rental companies.
The bizarre behavior has resulted in an Instagram page called pubwik rows, dedicated to the campaign against the phenomenon and the training of Gen Z about how to order a drink.

Customers often say when they come to the Manchester Pub, “Wow, is that real? '', Said Mr. Hayes.
He explained that the pub, which was built in 1790, consists of two rooms and by the time you only walked in a few feet, you are already at the bar.
The landlord said he regularly struggles to serve customers because of how small it is.
And with the owner who looms over his customers on a stunning 6ft 5, the circus tavern is perhaps the smallest bar in Europe with the biggest landlord.
You can even read at the front of the building: “The smallest bar in Europe, the biggest welcome in the world.”
Mr. Hayes took over the lease for the pub in 2010. He said: 'The person who had the pub placed an advertisement in the local newspaper.
“We made a business plan and that was it.”
It is definitely a place for Gen Z -Drinkers, who may find their obsession to stand in line to drink a drink, instead of approaching the bar, actually helps with it as a boozer like this.

Pube owners think that the love of younger drinkers before it is in a row is a remnant of Covid Social Distanties – many of these pubgoers will first have started socially during the pandemic.
Institutions in Leeds, London, Scotland and Manchester have even resorted to placing signs with instructions on how to behave at the bar.
A sign that was placed at the bar last year in a flagship Premier Inn Hotel, which actually recommended last year for a drink instead of advising on it caused a stir among gamblers.
The notification in the Gatwick Airport branch of the chain was: 'We want to offer everyone a fair service. Wachter at the start of the bar and we will be with you soon. '
But angry British reacted furiously to the signage, with the argument that standing in the queue for a pint puts an end to the age -old tradition of crawling around the pumps.
