A 'manipulative' female sex offender who has taken care of a young boy to perform sexual acts on her has been imprisoned for four years.
Caitlin Hutchinson, 21, became friends with the teenager and sent him for more than a few months sexually explicit SMS messages and let him perform sex acts on her.
Her crimes were stopped only when the boy, who is in his early teenage years, bravely informed his parents about what happened.
Hutchinson then claimed shameful that the boy had forced herself on her while she tried to deny the charges against her.
She was then accused of six counts of sexual activities with a boy and sexual activities in the presence of a child.
Hutchinson, from Sunderland, was also accused of entering into sexual communication with a child and causing or encouraging a boy to do sexual activity.
She argued guilty of all violations and appeared yesterday at Durham Crown Court for conviction.
The 21-year-old was imprisoned for four years and was placed in the sex offense register for an indefinite period of time.

Hutchinson received a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) who prevented her from having contact with children under the age of 16, and forbade her to use social media websites without first informing the police.
Her young victim said his childhood was destroyed and said he is now struggling to sleep at night as a result of the mean acts of Hutchinson.
In a victim impact statement, the boy said: 'The last 18 months have been hell for me, continue what they spent me and love my family because I was ashamed.
'I have changed so much because of what I have experienced. I don't just want to be with women because I don't feel safe, even with women I know because I no longer want to be the target and manipulated.
'I have trouble going to sleep every night, sometimes not to fall asleep until the early hours of the morning because of the thoughts that go through my head of what happened to me.
'I no longer have a motivation in life and struggle every day with emotions, fear and depression.
'I feel that I will never happen to what she has done to me, that I am damaged and that I will never be completely happy. I just want a normal life and I don't feel that my life will ever be normal again.
“I hope I can continue with my life, although I have the feeling that I can't forgive her because I ruined my childhood.”

PC Sophie Farrugia, from South Durham Cid, led the research.
She said: “Hutchinson is a manipulative sex offender who hunted for a vulnerable young boy and operated his good nature for her own sexual satisfaction.
'She has shown no concern about the long -term effect that her behavior has had on him, which led to significantly emotional trauma.
'I would like to order the boy for his courage and courage in reporting what happened to him and because they stand up against Hutchinson and bring her to court.
“I hope that today's result brings him some closure and enables him to continue his life.”
She added: 'If you have suffered sexual abuse, come forward and report it to us – at 101 or in an emergency by calling 999.
“You are not alone – there are people who will support you every step of the road.”
