A dog walker said she found a backpack of missing chef Claudia Lawrence chef, just a few days after she disappeared 16 years ago, a new podcast reveals.
Claudia was 35 when she disappeared without a track after she was not working on work at York University on 19 March 2009.
Despite an extensive investigation, her case remains a mystery and it has become one of the most famous unsolved things in Great Britain.
But the answers for Claudia Podcast have excavated more details about her disappearance, including the discovery of a backpack worn by Claudia when she was missing.
The podcasters interviewed a woman, called BEF, who claims to have found the purple and blue karrimor bag that is located next to a tree stump at the river T pieces in Ingleby Barwick -about 40 miles from York.
The bag, which contained some sandwiches in foil, was found only a few days after the chef's disappearance.
She initially left the backpack alone, but later returned to look for the bag after seeing DCI Lucy Pope mentioned in a press conference of the police.
'Only when I saw the newspaper article that I was going then is that the bag I found. I clearly remember that I turned the newspaper and saw the bag, knowing it is the bag I found, “she said.

But when Bever returned to the stage, the bag had disappeared.
In another part of the podcast, a bus driver named Dave said that he saw a woman about 20 miles away on the A1M near Wetherby the night before Claudia was last known to have gone to work. He remembered that he stopped and called the police.
When he saw the face of the missing woman on the news a few days later, he said, “That's the wife of the A1, she is.”
It comes as Claudia's grieving mother told the podcast that there was a hidden loft in her daughter's house who had never been searched.
Joan Lawrence, 81, said that she 'had absolutely no idea' that the secret loft existed until she recently visited the podcast crew.
Although she wants the new area to be searched after the revelation of the bomb, she initially said that she does not want a police in the building because she has “lost all the trust and trust in them.”
But she has now agreed to meet officers and show them around the small opening in the roof.
