The body of a missing 24-year-old dog walker was drawn from a river in Worcester after a three-day search.
Harriet Davies was missing on Tuesday morning in her house in the Diglis area of the city.
After reporting a person stranded in the River Severn, in an area where Mrs. Davies regularly walked her dog, the emergency services launched a great search operation that morning.
Specialist rescue teams have combined a piece of the river in the last three days, but unfortunately her body was restored from the water yesterday afternoon – and she was not with her dog when she was missing.
A spokesperson for the West Mercia police said: 'Unfortunately, a body was found this afternoon during searches in the river in Worcester.
'The body has been identified as that of the 24-year-old woman who was missing on Tuesday in her house in Diglis.
“Her death is not treated as suspicious. Our thoughts are with her family on this incredibly sad time. '
The local population went to Facebook this week to pray for the safe return of the 'beautiful' and 'really talkative' woman.

Harriet was last seen in a black waistcoat, a blue top with long sleeves, blue jeans, a black Casio watch and black Wellies.
Her family said that residents might recognize her while she often walks their dog through the area – but she was not at the pet when she was missing on Tuesday morning.
Well-Wishers went to Facebook all week and talked about their hope that she was found safely.
She was described by those who knew her as 'friendly', 'beautiful' and 'really talkative'.
Local wife Mags Moore said: 'I see her walking around Diglis all the time.
“She always seemed so pleasant and polite and always said hello.”
A spokesperson for the ambulance service in West Midlands said earlier: 'We were called for a patient in the water near Diglis House Hotel on Severn Street at 10.19 am.
“We have two ambulances, two paramedical officers, the response team of the Hazardous Area and the Midlands Air ambulance from Strensham on the scene where we are currently performing a search with colleagues from the police and fire brigade.”
