Bill Maher made a shocking approval for a 'Trump-like' Democrat to become president in the next elections: Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman.
The 'real -time' host said that 'Democrats should find their Trump' during his show on Friday evening, and he thinks Fetterman might be right for the job.
The comedian clarified that when he says that the liberal candidate as the 47th President should be, he is not intended to adopt his 'authoritarian' characteristics, but that the politician should act as the Republican in the way he “binds with everyday Americans because he talks like them.”
“The good news for Democrats is that they have that guy, and his name is John Fetterman,” said Maher, 69,.
Maher spoke strongly about Fetterman, 55, and said how he chose to go to Mar-A-Lago after Trump won 'instead of curling in a ball'.
After their 'fascinating meeting', Trump told the Salena Zito of the Washington examiner how 'he was impressed' by Fetterman.
“He is a commonse person. He is not liberal or conservative. He is just a commonse person, which is beautiful, “Trump added.
Maher then explained how much Fetterman and Trump actually have in common.
