Fox News star Kat Timpf has confirmed that she will undergo a double mastectomy days after she has unveiled her shocking diagnosis of breast cancer.
In an unexpected Instagram post shared on Tuesday, the 36-year-old host announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, only a few hours before she gave birth to her first child.
“Last week I welcomed my first child in the world. About fifteen hours before I gave birth, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, “the post read.
“My doctors say that the stage is zero and is convinced that it is almost certainly not spread.”
The surprising news was followed by an outpouring of concerned comments, many of which include unsolicited medical advice.
On Friday, Timpf went to X to express her gratitude for the support of the internet, but admitted that the huge number of well -meaning advice had felt her 'overwhelmed'.
'First of all, thank you very much for all the support, it meant so much for me. This is clearly a very crazy, difficult, unexpected time and I really appreciate it, “said the mother of one in the video.
“But I wanted to tackle a few things because I was overwhelmed, I think you could say, medical advice?”
