A furious woman is considering calling off her wedding – because her fiancé has eliminated her alarm, so she in turn lost her job.
In a position on Reddit, the 28-year-old man explained the situation and wrote that he and his 24-year-old girlfriend have been dating and getting married for five years.
“Since the beginning she has a terrible habit of ignoring her wake-up alarms,” he wrote in the post.
'She puts 10 to 15 alarms every morning in the course of an hour. I am the opposite. I am a light sleeper, so once I wake up, it is difficult for me to fall asleep again. This makes it exceptionally difficult if a new alarm ends every 10 minutes, “the expectant man complained in the post.
He explained that he works from home, so usually wakes up at 9.30 am, while his fiancé starts to work at 8.30 am, so set an alarm before 6 am.
While she sleeps through it, the dissatisfied man said he should endure alarms that go off for an hour and a half.
“In the course of time this has hated her sleeping habits and I have often resorted to sleeping in the guest room only to get the right rest,” he explained.
She recently switched to closing services, which means that the couple can wake up at the same time and that the man does not have to wake up with continuous alarms.

“Last Wednesday I woke up for the first time in months at 6 o'clock in the morning,” he explained.
'Because she had casually mentioned in the week that she closed every day, I assumed that she had forgotten to eliminate her alarms. Because I wanted to get a few more hours of sleep, I turned them all out and reset them to 10 a.m., her usual wake-up time for closing services.
“When 10 o'clock rolled around, I heard a scream from the bedroom,” he shared. “It turns out that she had to open that day. She hurried to work, but was fired on the spot because she left the store for more than an hour unopened. '
The man first said he felt terrible – but then he discovered the reason she had switched to closing shifts because she had received different warnings and strikes for a month of a month and the closing shift was a last chance for her to keep her job.
“She never told me this,” he said unbelieving. “Keep in mind that I was then consistently slept in the guest room, so by the time I came up for my work, she would already be out of the house, so I had no frame of reference to tell if she was too late or not.”
According to the man, his fiancé is now 'furious' with him and wants to postpone their wedding.
“I understand why she is upset, I also have the feeling that this could be prevented,” he noticed. “If she had just told me she had trouble waking up, I could have helped.”
The man claims that his fiancé is now acting 'far and filthy' towards him, and he is fed up.

“She made zero effort to do better when I said that her alarms mess with my sleep, not effectively communicating throughout the situation, and in my opinion, lied by omission about her at work,” he said furiously.
'From now on I am back to sleep in the guest room and we are hardly speaking. I told her that until she sees her role in all this, there is no discussion. '
Many Reddit users in the commentary section agree that the bride is 'not responsible' to get married.
“Your fiancé was not fired because you eliminated her alarms, she was fired because she could not appear nine separate times on time,” a user argued.
'You are not even married yet and you sleep separately !! Do you really need strangers to complain about this? “One user argued.
Another suggested that she was looking for medical help.
'Side point that can help – she should see a sleeping doctor. I am struggling with this. I found out far too late that it was not that somehow I was morally broken because I was not a morning person, I have something that is called delayed sleeping phase disorder. No amount of shame, loud noise or expectation will yield you for your 30s. It is super bad with teenagers and young people who have it, “they suggested.
