Residents have been warned to keep their windows and doors closed while firefighters rush to tackle a 'big fire' in a building.
It is thought that the fire in the abandoned Nations Club in Plymouth is Devon.
A video posted on X showed bright orange flames that raged from a blue building.
The thick smoke was shown rising high in heaven, while firefighters tried to extinguish the enormous fire.
About five fire engines and five police cars are reportedly on site.
The traffic was diverted in the area and motorists were told that they had to avoid the road while firefighters tackle the fire.
Fire services said they were called to a building next to KFC at about 4.30 pm, where the first and second floor of the building was on fire.
A spokesperson said that cylinders were involved, which made it “harder to check.”

There was a 'large amount of smoke from the roof' and firefighters said they would be there for some time.
