Mountain Rescue Crews in Noord -Wales are at the breaking point due to a huge increase in call -outs because of Tiktok and Instagram -influencers draw 'unprecedented' crowds.
It comes after two dead took place in just ten days. Civil engineer Maria Eftimova, 28, who had a 'love for extreme sport', died when she fell 60 ft while she scaled Snowdonia's Tryfan North Ridge.
The other walker slid on a piece of grass and fell 32ft on February 16 while walking Glyder Fach.
Maria's friends thanked the Mountain Rescue Crews who tried to save her on February 22.
But the police say that influencers on social media apps such as Tiktok and Instagram are responsible for a larger number of people walking in the mountains and on the coast.
Popular places such as Mam Tor and Doveale's Stepstones in the Peak District have taken the headlines in recent months because they are flooded with people attracted by social media.
Similarly, 'idiot' tourists are accused of causing 'chaos' in Snowdonia, which made warnings about attentive behavior for the area and the local population.
Many are starting walkers and do not have the experience needed to tackle more difficult routes.

But it was just one of the many emergency calls in Noord -Wales in the past two weeks.
The police of Noord -Wales said that the number of calls to Mountain Rescue had been 'almost unprecedented' in the last two weekends.
This is partly because influencers post about 'absolutely amazing' walks.
Chief inspector Owain Llewellyn said the BBC: 'What we see is a dramatic increase in photos and videos of the area that appears on social media, often posted by influencers.
