An alleged fight between parents in a cheerleading match in Dallas reportedly led a huge rush.
Police cars were seen on stage when a mass of people in sparky uniforms and terrified parents can be seen at a conference center where the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) All-Star National Championship is held on Saturday.
After mass chaos in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, many went to social media and believed that there was an active shooter.
Since then, however, the police have confirmed to the local outlet Wfaa that there was no active shooter and no shots were fired.
The Dallas police did not immediately respond to the request of the DailyMail.com for comments.
Up to 30,000 cheerleaders and their parents were in the city for the event.
While social media flooded with tweets that are concerned about the potential and ultimately false reports of an active shooter, those present were also not knowing whether the threat was real.
One X user called the resulting chaos the 'scariest experience of my life'.
“I hope everyone and their family and friends are fine,” they added before they write, “oh my God.”

After the confusion, the Dallas police placed a statement that the authorities “investigated an incident near the Omni Hotel and Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.”
“A family rights center was founded on the Dallas Police Headquarters, 1400 Botham Jean Blvd,” they added.
In addition, the thousands of cheerleaders reported at school age, NBCDFW reported that an expected 60,000 was expected.
“We've been coming for 25 years,” True Hall, a cheer coach, told The Outlet for Saturday's fear. 'Super excited. It is by far our favorite national national. '
