Donald Trump said on Friday that boxes with classified documents that the FBI seized from his house in Mar-A-Lago were given back to him during an investigation into possible misconduct.
Federal Judge Aileen Cannon rejected the case against the president in a bomb scheme last July, less than 48 hours after Trump was shot during a rally in Pennsylvania.
Boxes were charged to Air Force One when Trump returned to Mar-A-Lago in Florida after blowing up with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zensky.
He wrote on Truth Social Friday: “The Ministry of Justice has just returned the boxes that Jack Smith made so much.”
Trump added that one day he would show them in his final presidential library.
“Justice finally won. I did not do anything wrong. This was just an attack on a political opponent who of course did not work well. Justice in our country will now be restored, “he wrote.
Trump was accused of taking highly sensitive national security documents to his Mar-A-Lago estate when he left the White House, and FBI agents took a series of material during a search in his house in Florida in August 2022.

The persecution still moved through the legal system when Trump came to power on January 20.
Nine days later, Smith dropped the case, referring to a policy from the Ministry of Justice not to indicate or prosecute a sitting president, months after Cannon had rejected it. He also resigned from the department.
